The ‘Gold’ was a concept car designed for the elderly, keeping in mind the urban issues they develop with age. It is a two seater compact hatchback for the urban elderly couple. The compact size lets them drive without any fear or intimidation of the traffic around. The lowered day light openings and missing A-pillar widen the vision cone vertically and horizontally allowing them to have near vision to ease parking. The rear hinged door allows easy egress and ingress with assistive seat which twists out when getting out or in. The car is powered by electricity, with the body built completely from plastic panels which are dent free at low speeds and can easily be replaced in case of damage.
