LED streetlights was need of time, yet in 2008 they were not adaptable directly and a evolution of the entire system of things needed to be developed. The streetlight fixture was designed inspired by the sting ray, hence also named ‘Stinger’. A different novel feel was to be created in the fixture to create an attraction point, so it needed to look sleek and futuristic, unlike the other wise available fixtures for street lights. Architecture was also evolving to modernistic forms and the surrounding environment also needed to update and upgrade itself visually and technologically, laying a perfect argument for existence of these lamps.
